Jean Mixer, MBA

Jean Mixer serves on the board of directors of Kaleido Biosciences. She served on the board of directors of NxStage (NXTM), a $2B publicly-traded med tech company, on both the Audit and Compensation Committees (since 2012). She served on the board of the Cambridge Trust Company (CATC) (2006-14), where she was Chair of the Compensation Committee.

She is founder and CEO of Mixerconsulting.

She was formerly the Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Boston Children’s Hospital where she launched and led the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator, Precision Medicine, telehealth services for the #1 ranked Children's Hospital in the US. She also was the VP of Strategy for the enterprise.

She was formerly a partner at the Boston Consulting Group, a leading strategy consulting firm where she worked for over a decade. She previously served on the Board of Directors of two public companies, including a $2B high-growth medical technology company. In her 25+ years of experience, she has worked broadly across sectors. In health care, she has worked across the restructuring health care value chain including working with leading academic medical centers, integrated health care delivery networks, payers, pharmaceuticals, pharmacy/PBMS and medical devices. In addition, she led accelerator and new business launch teams in e-commerce in consumer retail and financial services. She developed the strategy and launch plans for two businesses which are now $1B in size.

Ms. Mixer has a Master’s degree in Management from the Kellogg School of Management and a BS from Boston College.
